This oil is high in vitamin E content and hence its regular application on the skin can prevent and treat vitiligo.
Beautify your Skin
Improve your complexion with a face mask prepared by combining four tbsp. of gram flour, two tbsp. of almond oil and one tsp. each of powdered fenugreek (methi), turmeric and wheat germ oil. Add ¼ tsp. of rose oil into this mixture and use it as a facial mask. This mask is also useful for treating boils, eczema, psoriasis etc.
Combine it with Other Oils
Here is one oil massage recipe that you can incorporate into your skin care to treat some common issues like sunburn, skin discoloration, dry flaky skin, stretch marks, dry scalp etc. Just combine 2 teaspoons each of wheat germ oil with four tablespoons of coconut oil. Add two teaspoons of tamanu oil to this mix.
Cure Oily Skin
If you have an oily skin type then make and use a face mask to nourish it and for this mix 3 tablespoons of sage tea, ½ tsp. of wheat germ oil, about two tablespoons of powdered oats and a spoon of flaxseeds. Spread this on your face and remove it with water after half an hour.
Repair Your Skin
Combine peeled and mashed mango fruit with one tbsp. of wheat germ oil. Add in one teaspoon of oat flour. Smear it over your cleansed skin and wash it off after 20 minutes. This mask is effective in remedying problems like fine lines, wrinkles, mature skin, uneven complexion etc.
You can also nourish your skin with a mixture of wheat germ oil and applesauce. Use it on a regular basis to counter dry skin naturally.
Moisturizing Cream Recipe
Make skin moisturizing recipe by combining three tablespoons each of honey and wheat germ oil. Add, 1oz. each of witch hazel, glycerin to it and lastly, add some rose water into this solution.
Dry Skin Mask
As you know, dry skin is more prone to aging. So prevent this condition by using a mixture of one mashed carrot, five tablespoons of wheat germ oil, two tbsp. each of honey and yogurt and one teaspoon of potato flour. Use this mixture as a face pack.
Sun Damage Protection
Things you’ll need:
2 tbsp. of wheat germ oil
2 tbsp. of sesame oil
4 teaspoons of walnut oil
4 teaspoons of hazelnut oil
5 drops of ylang-ylang
5 drops of lavender essential oil
Mix all ingredients together and use this as a sun protection lotion.
