Homemade Bath Oil Recipes

Olive oil and Essential Oils

Take a clean bowl and put 1/8th of olive oil, two tablespoons of glycerin into it. Next, add ten drops each of grapefruit and coconut essential oil into the mixture. Lastly, put 15 drops of ginger essential oil. Stir the mixture and store it in a clean glass bottle. Add a tablespoon of this mix in your bath water to enjoy its goodness.

Easy Herbal Bath

This herbal bath will help relax your mind, soothe skin irritations and treat lot of other skin problems. All you need to mix four cups of dried herbs like mint, black tea, chamomile and comfrey together. Now boil these herbs in almond oil for one hour. Strain the oil and blend four parts of this solution with one part of white vodka. Store it and use it whenever you want.

Lavender Bath Oil Recipes

To make this recipe, you can use either almond oil or olive oil as carrier oil. Put some lavender flower petals in a jar. Now heat the carrier oil and pour it into the jar so that it covers lavender entirely. Put on the jar’s lid and keep it under the sun for 3 or 4 days.

You can also make another recipe by combining about 18 drops of lavender essential oil with two tablespoons of olive oil or any other carrier oil. This is a quick recipe, isn’t it? Put a spoon full of this mixture into your bath water.

Skin Soothing and Relaxing Recipe

This recipe will now only help soothe your skin but it is also good for mentally tensed people. Use olive oil as a base oil and mix four, six and seven drops of rose, cedarwood and frankincense essential oils. Put one teaspoon of this oil into the water and soak your body to have a soothing and relaxing feeling. To get maximum advantage, massage this oil on your skin after completing your bath

Recipe for All Skin Types

Take a clean jar and put six tablespoons of almond oil, three tablespoons of olive oil and two tbsp. of sesame oil. Add a spoon full of wheat germ oil and two spoons of canola oil.

These all homemade bath oil recipes are really very easy to prepare. The best way to use your favorite recipe is to simply put it into the bath water (not running) and swish around to distribute it uniformly.
